Commissions are open. For more details, please read the following page carefully. By commissioning me (the Artist), you (the Commissioner) agree to the following terms. These terms are subject to change at any time.

Pay What You Want Model

If you're interested in a commission that allows for creative freedom and collaboration, then the pay-what-you-want model might be the perfect fit for you. Under this model, you have the flexibility to determine the value you place on the Artist's work, with no minimum price requirement. This allows you to support the artist while acquiring a piece that resonates with you. Due to the flexible nature of the Pay What You Want Model, there will be no refunds.

If interested, contact the artist to share your ideas for the commission. During this conversation, details of the project should be discussed, such as desired style, subject matter, and any other specific preferences. This will help the Artist clearly understand the vision desired and ensure the work meets expectations.

Not Willing to Draw

⬤ Content of NSFW manner. This is to the Artist's discretion. Artistic Nudity is permitted at the Artist's discretion.
⬤ Ideologically harmful content. This is to the Artist's discretion.
⬤ Politically charged content. This is to the Artist's discretion.
⬤ The Artist reserves the right to refuse any commission that offends the Artist's sensibilities.

Usage

The Artist retains all copyright to the artwork. However, with the completion of a commission, the Commissioner is granted a non-exclusive license to use the commissioned piece for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes using the work as a profile picture, wallpaper, printing for personal enjoyment.

The commissioned artwork cannot be used for the following purposes without the Artist's written consent:

⬤ Commercial use: This includes artwork for marketing, advertising, merchandise, resale, or any other profit-generating activity.
⬤ Resale and distribution: The Commissioner is not permitted to resell the artwork or distribute it to third parties for profit.
⬤ Artificial Training and Data Sets: The Artist's work cannot be used for training artificial intelligence, or included in data sets without the Artist's explicit, written permission.

Revision Policy

⬤ Updates on artwork: The Commissioner will receive many opportunities in the process to critique and make commentary/changes to the commission. After a rough sketch to determine composition, the colors will be established and then refining details will be added. The Artist will communicate frequently with the Commissioner as any major progress is made on the piece.

⬤ Revision requests: Please submit revision requests clearly and concisely, outlining the specific desired changes. Reference materials or visual examples can provide additional clarity.

⬤ Approval: Once the Commissioner approves the final artwork, revisions are no longer possible.

For Simple Pieces / Pay What You Want: 1-2 minor revisions

For Complex Pieces: 1-2 major revisions; 1-3 minor revisions

For Highly Complex Pieces: 1-3 major revisions; 2-4 minor revisions

REGARDING COMPLEX + HIGHLY COMPLEX PIECES: Once the work has left the sketch/basic blocking phases, major compositional revisions will not be accepted. Once the Artist has sent WIP correspondence, the Commissioner has 24 hours to make criticism, commentary, or revision requests. Silence will be considered approval to proceed with the current direction.

Major Revisions

⬤ Changing the subject of the art - e.g., changing main subject from animal to human
⬤ Change focus of scene - e.g., from peaceful landscape to dramatic scene
⬤ Replacing overall style of artwork - e.g.; from realism to cartoony
⬤ Any concept that heavily differs from the agreed upon commission in terms of composition or style of the artwork.

Minor Revisions

⬤ Changing color palette slightly
⬤ Adjusting minor elements within the composition
⬤ Refining and fixing facial expressions or anatomical issues
⬤ Small technical issue touch-ups
⬤ Background details
⬤ Small composition edits

Silence will be considered approval to proceed with the current direction.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of commissions, the Artist typically does not accept refunds once the project is started.

Full refund: A full refund will be given to the Commissioner if the Artist is unable to complete the commission due to unforseen circumstances on the Artist's end.

Partial refund: If the Commissioner decides to cancel the commission after the sketching process, a partial refund may be issued at the Artist's discretion, taking into account the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation.

Credit

Where applicable, please credit the Artist of the work as POYOY.

What file formats do you provide the final artwork in?

The completed piece will be sent to you via e-mail in PNG format. The Commissioner can request for an original file.

What is the turnaround for a commission?

Completion timeframe varies depending on the project's complexity and current workload. An estimated timeframe will be established in the initial discussion. Typical turnaround is 1-3 weeks.

I am not satisfied with the final artwork.

Please see revision policy for more details. There are NO REFUNDS on Pay What You Want illustrations due to the flexible nature of the model.
